Energy bar shut off

Friends of ours has a Apex, older model 4yrs old approx....the energy bar is clicking and shutting off about every 15-20 mins...then comes back on. But everything plugged in on it shuts down.

any ideas????

we are taking everything off and plugging in on a power strip until we figure it out...

I would open a ticket with Neptune. You can try the normal things like rebooting the Apex, updating firmware, etc but this sounds like it might be a hardware issue with the EB8.

My first guess would be a bad USB connection. I would check the communication cable and where it connects for corrosion.
