Can I mix Reef Energy parts A and B in a container for automatic dosing or should they be kept separate?

@SPR1968

Shuan,
Can you ask Kevin if you can mix both parts into one?

My work is too busy to talk with him right now.

All I remember is that it needs to stay cool and to use small amounts at a time so that it stays mixed.

I just saw in the instructions that any that is mixed and not used should be discarded. So I'm guessing the answer is no. I don't mind the manual additions for now.

Why did your "for now" comment sound like a prelude to a gadget? :)
Some time in the not too distant future I plan on adding another 4 head doser.

The instructions state that ‘A and B can be mixed together directly before supplementing’ but not so save any left over, I assume as it may go bad

It has to be keep refrigerated anyway, and also if your using a doser the lines will need to be kept cold and clean or they may clog and then the reef energy may go off and the lines block.

I’m personally at a stage with my tanks nutrient levels that I only dose reef energy ever 2-3 days and it’s made no difference to coral growth that I notice. Nitrates are around 12-16ppm with a trace of phosphate and with the daily fish waste they get plenty of food.

I think the daily use would be needed if your running ultra low levels were there’s no food in the water.

Creating a strong bulwark: Did you consider floor support for your reef tank?
