I was planning on getting a epaulette shark for my 133 gallon community tank.I was wondering if this size tank would be big enough at least for it young state or would a different shark be better.

I dont think theres a shark small enough for a 125 i think bare minimum is closer to 3-400 gallons. They grow rather quickly.

if you get a small one it would be ok for a little while. but they will grow fairly quickly and youll need to upgrade your tank sooner than later. I had a whitespotted bamboo in my 240 a few years back and had to rehome her after about 2 years or so if I remember right. Your best bet would be a coral cat shark. They stay around 2 feet or so but your 133 gallon would be too small eventually. You could probably get around 1.5-2 years if you get a baby.

Man I must of got a runt as I've had my whitespotted bamboo for 7 years and she just hit 25 inches a few months ago.
