Eshopp mariner 70 not sitting flush

Hello! I got a used mariner 70 today and got home and set it up. I realized 2 of the 4 corners are not completely flush and even. Even with the pad. It was used and the pad was silicones onto the tank. Is this going to create an issue? Since it’s used should I fill it with some water and see if it sit flush then? The shop is very reputable and open to me going down there but they are closed right now.

Hello LV Reefer,

You should be good. As the tank fills it should compress the pad (it's thick) more evenly. ;)

In order to level it on a wood floor would you guys recommend removing the small legs and shimming it? The legs provide and uneven ness with no way to tell how high they are

You may remove it and add shims as long as it helps level the stand.

BTW: this is all well noted and will be submitted to R&D for review. We appreciate everyone's input as we watch all Mariner products closely to make sure we provide the best quality and even get better as we move forward.
