I bought the Eshopps AF-200 for my new setup and it comes with a float switch so you can hook up an ATO to it. How do I go about hooking it up to a pump in my reservoir?

I don't think you'd want it on a pump. Those are typically used for gravity feeds.

To hook it to a pump, you'd probably want to add a secondary level indicator that would shut the pump off to avoid burning up the motor, but that would also make the float level unnecessary unless you put the level sensor just slightly below the float allowing the float to act as a secondary emergency shut off.

Yes, thank you for the reply after a lot more searching I finally found the answer I was looking for. Just like you said the float switch is gravity fed, which I’m my situation won’t work. I have since removed it and bought an ATO kit to use instead.
