ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

Cool news today... Leopard Wrasse is eating Prime Reef flakes, PE, and now also Live Aquaria krill pellets!

How many noops would you put on a 60” tank? Looks like 2 is working well on yours
I had 3 on my 72" and they were good. 4 would have been better but with the bracing it would have made for some shadows.

Noop says 24" x 24" for full coverage.

Fair but I trust your opinion more than the person selling them
BRS recommends filling every available bit of space above your tank with the most expensive light you can buy from them.

If I buy them will they still sell them next week? Or will they randomly change the brand name and stop supporting the product (I'm looking at you aquamaxx) even though it’s just got a new label slapped on the same product?

I can push 1200 PAR at the water line with my current light but that just bleaches everything

I think I found my motto and I’ve stylized it like any good quote:

So for my Noops, I run both at 100% blues and maybe only 10% white. It's decent coverage but the edges are kinda dim. I probably could have moved them over an inch or 2 further and had slightly less par in the middle of I wanted to.

If you're wanting insane par for sticks and such, I'd go 4. Full coverage with very few shadows and about 300-325 par at the top close to where the lights are mounted, 3. Good enough for everything except the sticks would need to be directly under the lights, 2.

My buddy just put 2 SMATFARM lights on his 5' 100 gallon and he said he had to turn them down because they were bright. But he's not doing much SPS.

I've got a smatfarm over the current tank and if anything it's too powerful. I tested it with the blues at 50% and white 20, green 5 and yellow 5 and par was 550 at the water line and nearly 475 at the sand

@tbrown i think both of us have been upset at being left out of POTM but wow this guy is a sore loser!
Yeah. I was going to go in there and start yelling...

I once did a 10 page essay in 11 pages and got points deducted.
