ESHOPPS Mariner 70 Build

Depends on what you are dosing. Do you need 4 heads? If you need 3 heads, the jebao might make more sense. Two minnows would give you a lot of sense ports though..
Minnow would be controllable with the Hydros so the pH probe would tell it when to stop whereas the Jebao would be a set amount of acid each time and the pH probe would have to register how much acid went in when the pH hits 4.0. it would be doable, just easier with the Minnow.

I talked it over with my wife and decided I'd do the LE and Gyre, a X2 Starter with ATO pump and Solenoid, and, if the TSA is a gift card good for any purchase, probably a Minnow.

The cool thing about the Minnow is the pump can go forward an reverse so dosing live Phyto or Copepods wouldn't need a rinse cycle afterwards - dose 200 mL forward, dose 200 mL backwards. I'd have to figure out how much line to fill and how much goes into the tank.

A simple T or Y fitting with check valves and a jar of RO water would allow for a reverse rinse and a top off to the jar at the same time. Might be kinda cool, but that's down the road a bit.

Thanks for that.... just what I'm looking for with phyto.

If you have Hydros, the Minnow and X10 both can run backwards and forwards.

Great idea for the auto feeder. Didn't even think of that.

I found a page yesterday on Hydros that listed which ones can run forward and backward but I can't find it right now.

Sole is also bi-directional and uses a stepper motor for better low rate precision but larger tubing diameter.

That's the chart I was looking for! Where's it located?

It sounds like X10 would be best option if money isn't an issue. I'm also looking for something for Hydros to do dosing.
I already have an X3 and spending extra money right now isn't an option my wife is willing to consider. I have 2, maybe 3 $250 gift cards that can't be combined so unfortunately an X10 isn't an option today.

So I'm going to start running an experiment for a DIY CO2 scrubber on the little 5 gallon PICO tank. More to come. Currently, no fish inhabit that tank so no fish will be harmed if it doesn't work.

Going to check out the sole for possible feeding. I still have the mini fridge. So :thinking-face:
Unless you're looking at super micro dosing the Minnow will save you $50 and give you a second dosing head plus 4 more Sense Ports. Sole is 0.1 lpm - 300 lpm so you can push a lot or a little.

They haven't had much for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if they're just clearing inventory.
I had been checking back every week or so just to see what they got back in stock. Interestingly, the only thing that keeps coming back in stock seems to be aquariums and fish. They haven't even restocked their own branded supplements since June. Kinda stinks because I ran out of magnesium chloride and am going to need to order more after this gallon is gone. Granted, that probably won't be for 6 months or so, but still!

I was looking for a doser with larger tubing. My Reef Factory with 2mm ID tubing gets clogged with mysis and ROE gets crushed, I think from sheer pressure.

These have .25 inch I think it's 3mm inner 5mm outer.
