Eshopps r 100 gen 2

Was wondering if anyone has this sump or has had it I can't find any info or pictures on it can the skimmer go in the first compartment and the second be used for a refugium. Skimmer will fit into both sides just wondering how others have it

I have the 3rd generation with where the first compartment is dedicated to silent overflow and micron chamber. No issue with putting your skimmer in the first compartment as long as the water level is correct height for the skimmer.
