Can different corals from the same family be placed in close proximity of each other ?

Yes, euphyllia can be next to other euphyllia without stinging issues between each other. Here are mine.. octospawn, frogspawn and hammer coral

Yes they are from the same family and they are aggressive towards other euphyllias.
Torches can only be placed next to other torches or else they will sting

Technically, torches, bubble corals, and grape corals are the only Euphyllia. Hammers and Frogspawn were reclassified in 2018 to be Fimbriaphyllia.

Hammer, octospawn, and frogspawn all play well with eachother. Note that they can still be hostile to one another randomly, but they usually play nice. Torches need there own rock and shouldn’t really touch each other because it can effect it’s growth, but they can touch occasionally
