Hi,

My saltwater aquarium (Red Sea Nano Max), with the following water parameters:
Salinity: 1.023
Nitrate: 7.9 ppm
Nitrite: 0.027 ppm
Phosphate: 0.01
KH: 8.4
Calcium: 424
Magnesium: 1220
PH: 8.3
Ammonia: 0.0
Medium water flow
Light setting with 75% blue and 15% white
Position of the Euphyllia ancora in the middle of the tank
Sand bed is clean

All my other corals Zoanthus, sea anemones are fine.

Not sure why the Euphyllia ancora died, any suggestion what to check ?

Sorry to hear your loss! :(

It's quite possible your coral had a problem before you acquired it. I would point out your PO4 is low, it should be at least .03 mg/l and i'd keep in below .05 mg/l although a recent paper give .9 mg/l for growing out sexually reproduced acros.
