This was my 4th or 5th order from John. Never had a single problem in the past with dead loss. This time was a different story.

I ordered a handful of dwarf Cerinths and 15 banded trochus. The trochus require overnight shipping so I paid the 28 bucks to get them to California overnight. The package arrived and everything seemed fine. I placed the trochus on the rock work and noticed that none of them grabbed on. I figured they were stunned and went to work. Came home later to find a few had fallen off and were being consumed by bristleworms and a nasarius snail. I placed them in an isolation container to let them try and come around. The next am the problem seemed obvious. They were all goners except for one. The foot didn't move when touched, and the smell was starting in.

The evening I received them I sent john an email saying they looked a little off. He replied that night to send him a pic. The next morning I sent him pics of the dead snails.

Within about 3 hours a refund was issued for all of the trochus snails. No hassle. No BS. it was great to see how john handles problems. I will certainly purchase from him again in the future. The only part that sucks is that I ended up spending 28 bucks on overnight shipping for about 30 dwarf Cerinths....that hurts, but I understand that's the business and how almost everyone's refund policy is stated.

Thanks again john!
