I knew I had snails, but I was surprised to see how many when I looked when the lights were off!! I'd guess at least 200 on the glass!! So cool that they all come out at night!!

I love to look at mine every night and I love to see the difference between corals in the morning and at night! Especially my shroom and zoas.

Yup! The other night I caught some kind of mithrax crab I didn't even know I had, eating one of my a. tenuis colonies...Now he's a pencil topper. LOL

Always a good idea to periodically do a night check with a flash light. You never know what's going on and a lot of stuff happens at night.

i usually do that every night or every other night. never know what you'll see at night when your workers (tangs, pest controllers, inverts) are off the clock. noticed i'm getting more bristleworm activity during the night since my wrasse (6line) is sleeping. so i'm considering a night shift worker for this...not sure what to get. arrow crabs are too opportunistic, and i've had bad luck with shrimp like the peppermint going after my corals(and i don't have aiptasia anymore)
