Everthing got switched up! Videl's New Lagoon

Earlier this year I embarked on a seahorse tank and quickly discovered that 2021 would be full of travelling for conventions, which would make it nearly impossible. On top of that, my clownfish Videl had a decline in health. She is out-competed for food & is easily stressed by my more rambunctious fish. I'm super excited for this new tank, it's very different than my sps/mixed reef. It has been running with sand and rocks since March, I have finally finished the scape! My macro-algae order came today so it is time to share. I, also, like to name my tanks ;Happy

Nearly two month update:

I,unfortunately, lost my OG clownfish Videl. I'm really glad I was able to give her such a nice space all to herself before she passed. #SIP

The lagoon hit a snag after that, corals started to lose color so I took a lot of them out. Weirdly enough, the algae has done amazing new things are popping up that I didn't even order ( no surprise there) the pod population is out of control.

While waiting for my pipefish to be available & for the 50 Gallon Senzu Gang SPS tank to cycle, I couldn't pass up on a fish I have wanted for sometime. I purchased a Christmas Wrasse to occupy the lagoon until January, she'll pick away at a few of the undesirables. Getting her out is going to be a mission but she will be the last fish in the DT so I will figure that out when I get there. ;Hilarious

Lagoon update,

The Christmas wrasse is still doing well, she is eating prepared foods and enjoying the many amphipods in the tank.
Also the Cotton Candy corner has become a BEAST
