EVERYTHING Duncan!

Hey Guys,

After purchasing my first Duncan (Whisker) Coral, I fell in love. I had to have more! So I got myself another and pre ordered some specialty ones from my LFS. I want to know EVERYTHING about these guys!! Share with me what your Duncan's like the most. Ie; Water conditions, Placement in tank, Foods, water current strength. EVERYTHING!! Also post up them pics ;)

This is an older picture, they're much much bigger now. Bottom of the tank, low light, but mine seem to enjoy moderate flow :) I don't ever feed mine, I let my lights provide the food they need. They do tend to like dirtier water, so some nitrates and some phosphates, but not alot :) And my clowns decided to call my duncan cluster home. And they don't seem to mind at all

my duncans are happier when I direct feed them. I think my water stays too clean most of the time

Could we get an updated picture? I have one of the same species and love it so much same settings as yours besides I spot feed phyto every so often

My Duncan frag lows medium flow and light.

I bought mine with eight heads on it for $40. Fast forward 2 months and it has nearly 25 heads on it. Some are tiny but they grow really fast. It won’t be long before the thing is huge. I have mine down low... about 6 inches from the bottom of a 24” cube. Moderate water flow and about 120 par.
