Most of my corals are looking horrible. My frammer, hammers, frogspawn and gonios are all looking bad. I did do a 100L water change which is around 60% of my vol in 2 days and these are my params in a 10 day period. 25 was a day after the water changes.

15 Sep
- 22 ppm nitrate
- 1.7 PO4
-7.2 DKH
-1423 Magnesium
-439 Calcium

25 Sep
- 5 ppm nitrate
- 0.03 ppm PO4
- 9 DKH
-1.680 mg Magnesium
-530 ppm calcium
TIA

I’d be curious what your pH, salinity and temperature are. Are you dosing? Also, what brand of testing kit(s) are you using? Corals only or fish as well? What do you have for filtration, wavemakers, etc.

In 10 days your parameters made a huge jump . Cal went up almost 100ppm
Nitrates down 17ppm
Magnesium I’m not sure the Jain of measurements not being the same
But the one that jumps out at me the most is the increase in dkh
If your water is mixed a lot higher than the current water in the tank every water change would cause the same negative reaction

the KH might not be the most accurate as i did try to raise it up slowly

PH is unclear as my tester seems to not be working but salinity is 35 PPT. I am not dosing and i used salifert and colombo. I am running a fuge with cheap 10W lights. Fish seems fine. I also run a protein skimmer and wavemaker is Jebao SLW-20

Stability could be your issue, as the parameters did swing a good bit as someone mentioned above. if they are just retracted. I wouldn’t freak out yet just need to find stability possibly. Do they open up any at all during anytime ?

not fully retracted to the extend that all i see is the bones but a little little polyps could be seen.
