Evo 13.5 lighting

Hi everyone,

now that my tank is cycled I want to start adding some corals. I’ll be using my stock light that comes with the Evo. I set the sunrise at 7am and sunset at 7pm. Are those 12 hours of lighting over kill for some beginner corals??

Also I see there is a blue light in it as well, when would I actually use that that setting?

I hope I can get some help.
