I just ordered my cade 1500 peninsula (5 ft by 30 inches) and have been anxious about the scape. Trying to go a "HNSA" route but in general looking for tips about peninsula scapes, any and all expamples / tips for success would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much

I think one good tip is just to think about the types of corals you are wanting to keep in certain areas . Flow can be challenging in peninsula tanks so you’ll want to make sure your light and flow demanding corals have a place to go. One cool concept is basically making a drop off slope. So just building it fairly high closer to the overflow and return and then sloping it off at the end and having a bunch of low rockscapes for less demanding corals. Approximately 35-40% of the tank with a low rock scape for zoa and hammer etc. Another concept is to have an asymmetrical look where You have a high point in the tank close to the overflow and then at then continue the rock work to the end of the tank but only have it go maybe 30% lower than the high point. Shelf rock really helps in peninsula tanks.
