Experience with ABC reagent with Trident

Rinse them then let them dry. You do not want to mix reagents.

  • They are different brands
  • Different dye lot numbers

Some will debate or have a difference of opinion but honestly rinsing them out in such a short task why not. I have not used ABC reagents but OEM ones I don't even mix. Different lot numbers which could mean different dye colors. Yes it will be the same in theory but sort of like buying tile or similar flooring. Buy enough for the job to prevent the risk of a slight variation.
Makes a lot of sense that’s why I asked! Thank you!

Sorry for reviving an old thread.

I picked this up 3-4 months ago because Neptune had Shortages on reagents (shocker). They work really well and are pretty accurate once you calibrate your trident (I did mine 2 weeks after the switch to ABC).

At this point, I would only buy the Neptune reagents to get some extra bottles lol.

Agreed. I bought the year’s worth package.
