For my battle with bubble and gha in my 20 gal reef this is what I did, not really a dip but whole tank thing. it kinda gives a whole tank super strength dose for a short term. Forgive me if this gets confusing. I emptied out 5 gallons of water, then dosed 3% strength h2o2 at 2ml per gallon for full tank volume (40ml total) Applying via syringe over the bulk of the issue areas in my tank. I Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes while prepped to put clean mixed Salt water back in. Then put the new water in somewhat diluting the strong mix in the tank. This worked great for me. I had 3 Random Acros, frog spawn, acans, Zoas, and 2 chalices for corals. Inverts: tuxedo urchin, peppermint shrimp, blue leg hermits, and a few misc snails. 1 clown fish and a war paint goby. The only real scare for me was the urchin dropped all his/her trinkets immediately after putting in the H2o2. Algae turned white and started to dissipated over the next 24 to 48 hrs. Fish inverts and corals all survived. I then did another 5 gallon water change after 72 hrs to try to get the remaining dead algae out. All tanks are different and this may or may not be your thing. I am battling a Dino breakout and this did not seem to “cure” Dino’s but did a great job on the algae. I don’t recommend this if you questioning H2o2 but might help build a little confidence. It does wipe out algae if directly applying.
