Experience with this Hydra 64 diffuser?

Looking for a diffuser for my hydra 64 that keeps the fixture slim, I tried the diffuser from 3D Reefing and its quality is great I just don't like how bulky it is. So I found this listing on Ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/223792493452 which looks great but I have a bunch of questions about how installing this would work on the 64 with a button on the bottom. The seller hasnt responded to any questions which is a little sketchy imo, does anyone have experience with this specific diffuser? Are there any other options?

Yeah I have one from 3D reefing and its great I'm just not a fan of how bulky it is, doubles the size of the fixture at least. That's why I'm interested in different options if there are any.

Maybe not sure how I'd cut it evenly though, maybe sander lol? Just ordered that ebay diffuser and ill update this thread if it works or not, can't find anything on it really review wise so might as well.

I wonder why he made them as tall as they are, there is quite a bit of space in there. Maybe it melts?

was thinking the same thing, could save money on plastic too if he made them shorter... Maybe light spreading too much without the sides so deep?

I bought a set and it worked fine, didn’t end up using the light for very much longer though. Think it reduced the par by like 10-20%
