Can someone explain the benefits of rmicrobacter 7 to me. I have a general understanding of it already. Is there another alternative I should try? Or anything to add with it?

Not sure if you've read this thread, but it's short and has a few good posts discussing some aquabiomics testing that has been done on MB7 and another bacterial product.

I don't personally see any reason why I would add a product with an unknown (to me) strain of bacteria into my aquarium and hope for a positive outcome. If I wanted more diversity, I would get some rock or other media/substrate from a trustworthy source with an established and stable tank.
