@X-37B, you dont happen to have some before and after type pics of your SPS from when you got them vs now? I love growth pics.
A previous post showed 4 months growth on my WD. Tanks only 6 months old.
4 Months on this platy and favite.

The OR4 bars give some nice coloring when the 50's are on.
When ramping down the colors are quite different when the white is ramping down.
I am adding a third OR4 UV/V bar to the front.

Picked up this no name coral. Lfs said it was from an indo shipment.
When I picked it up it was black. Getting it home it has red poylps and a purplish base.
It will be interesting when/if it colors up.

System at 7 months is doing well
Temp 77
Sg 1.026
alk 7.3
Ca 420
mag 1320
po4 .04
no3 28

I am running 200micron mesh socks now in all systems.

I checked my nitrate reactors effluent today and its zero.
It has been running a month now.
Tanks no3 is 28 measured yesterday. It was higher but hard to tell because I was using Nyos.
I now have the Hanna.
I will let it run another month and test no3 every couple weeks.
Its a slow process to get the system's 150g's to my target of <5.
I am feeding mostly Larrys frozen with some brine and mysis. equal to about 7 cubes a day.

The OR4 bars are run for 4hrs a day currently. The 3 give 50-100 more par depending on where you take the reading.
The tank takes on a brighter look when they are on.
pIc 1 no or4
pic 2 with or4
pic 3 unknown acro from indo.

7 cubes yowza!!
Heavy in/out is my preffered method.
The fish have grown quite a bit since introduced to the system.
9 total.
Still trying to remove one 2" mantis but so far no luck.
2 swallow tail angels
2 anthias
1 maroon clown
1 Tomini Tang
1 yellowtail damsel
1 file fish
1 sixline
So far very peacefull tank.

I now have 1 a 3 head hammer in the corner under the 6255 and its doing well. It came from my 50.

I just picked this up.
It has 5 different colored worms and the porites is looking good with 90% of the rock covered.
I may go back and get the other one.
This one has 20+ worms.
Its the size of a small potato/tennis ball.

This tank is becomming a wild indo system, lol.
I still have 5 spots for some high end coral but have not decided which ones.
This is my only high end so far.
Hungs Rainbow. It was a fresh cut and has encrusted since 3 months ago. Just now starting to show some color and put out some base.
Also another wild colony I just mounted.

8 month update.
After running the Deltec nitrate reactor since startup I have now taken it off line.
I have replaced it with another 9430dc skimmer and am running ozone for 6 hours a day with orp around 350. My setting is 3 on the ozone generator.
This should keep the water clear.
It will be interesting to see the 2 9430's running together.
I did not did not see alot other than clear water and darker skim.
But thats what ozone does and I dont see a reason to run the reactor so I may sell or trade it.
Today
Alk 7.6
Po4 .070
No3 21
NO3 is lowly comming down.
First pic 9430 #1
Second pic is 9430#2 with ozone.

Well first disaster I have had in quite a long time.
When I put the other 9430dc in I did not notice that the 2 front suction cups came off the return pump.
The pump was at an angle and the zip tie did not hold.
I got up and heard a noise and the hose had come off putting 20+g's all over the floor.
It shot the water straight up.
No issues with equipment.
The tunze high level alarm shut the ato off.
The sg was still 1.026, in the tank so that was a gift.
Temp is at 71.
I used the wet vac to clean it up but it probably ruined the laminate floor. There is still water under the stand. There was a puddle of water in the kitchen too.

This is the first major tank disaster I have had in 30 years so im lucky. If I was not home it would have been a total loss.

So I am making 30g's now but waiting for temp to come up.

Everything in the tank look ok so I think it will be ok. It may take a few hours to get the temp up.

It does not look to bad in the pic but time will tell what happens to the flooring.

The simplest things can cause the biggest problems... glad the failsafe worked. Maybe run a dehumidifier in the room to help dry the floor
