I am setting up my fish breeding room again and this time I have a 450 gallon storage tank to hold freshwater for water changes.

All my tanks are small so I will be doing anywhere from 5-10 gallons water changes per tank.

My question is is a reeflo dart going to be ok to use to refill the tanks, I have a remote on off switch or a ball valve to shut off the water between tanks.

And will a garden hose be ok or is that going to be too small?

Big overkill using a dart & getting the output to a 5/8" hose is questionable.
How about an eheim? OR if the holding tank is high gravity?

The tank is sitting ground level, I was using a mag 9 and dropping it in but I wanted to get water to the tanks faster. I guess I can look for a mag 12 or 18? Only reason I was looking at the dart is I found one local for $50

The DART will work too well IMO. Not that that is necessarily a bad thing! Rather than a garden hose I'd use a potable water hose (white) just because it's designed to move, well, potable water.
