Fallow tank & amphipods overpopulating!

Try a pod hotel. Put it in the display tank for a few days so it populates then take it out. It should be full of pods. Do what you must with them. I'd recommend using them as food in the qt. Otherwise I would just leave the display alone.

Don't transfer anything from DT to QT during fallow, you may transfer the Ich to the QT.

Amphipods is awesome, they are going out on day because there are no fish in your tank, so they are bold. In my tank the bold ones become quick snack if they dare to go out during the day. Keep feeding them amphipods is the best CUC you can have. One your fish are in they will be back to their nocturnal routines
