Hello all,

Just a quick note to say thanks to all those who have helped me tremendously over the past years to help me be successful in this hobby. I made a decision to pivot away from reef keeping and sold my setup to a great newbie name @evanyoung2000! Evan is going to be great and is eager to learn. I made sure he signed up here, so he too can benefit from all the experience and wisdom here. I know you all will help him along the same way you did with me. So you lose an old grumpy guy and gain a younger positive guy. It’s a good trade. :)

It was a blast, and it’s bitter sweet to leave, but it’s a really good thing for me now.

Best wishes and happy reefing everyone.

Special thanks to @fishmedics and @Randy Holmes-Farley and of course Miami (RIP).

The last pic I took of the tank before the tear down at my place, and a pic of Evan the proud new owner :)

Happy to say that the plate island didn’t get as so much as a chip off it in the move and no fish losses or corals. They all were back to normal the next morning when the lights came on. Lots of check lists and prep on both ends to make it go smooth. But it all paid off.

Cheers!
