You’ll just have to go into Apex and recalibrate your temp probe to the temp of your salinity checker. Or purchase a good temp gauge and see what it gives you. I bought a bbq thermometer that is fairly accurate just for this. I had to replace one of my heater that have the calibration dial and I use it to tune it to the correct temp on both apex and heater.Right now I’m dealing with a water temp issue.
my apex is set to turn the heater on when it hits 77 degrees and then off at 78 degrees
but I’ve been thinking the water has felt cold but brushed it off
well I finally put my salinity tester in it and the temp reads 74 degrees
so trying to double check everything

What tank did you end up putting in the center?Long over due update
tank is doing great. Kind of been on auto pilot which mean everything is working like it should!
just some small issues and I’ll do small updates below
1. dino build up on corals
2. Low temp
3. “low” but stable pH
4. Flow in tank
Added plenty of corals and more coming! Those shots coming too
It’s the 11 gallon TidelineWhat tank did you end up putting in the center?
In my dreams I would plumb the 2 together and use the small one as a refugium. But that's a project for another time. It’s the 11 gallon Tideline
