Favia Not Doing Well After Shipment

Hey there guys, I received a decent sized order of corals the day before yesterday. So far, the hammers zoas and sea fans all look great and have all opened up. However, the Reverse Prism Favia that I ordered is not doing so well. It appeared extremely stressed upon arrival and was extremely dull in coloration. Not it appears as if one polyp is starting to decay. Should I attempt to remove the dying polyp, or let nature run its course. Attached are pics under white light. This is my first favia as well.

I never have any luck with favia corals.

I love favias. Yours look stressed so just keep it some low light space in tank and don't move it. It will take time to acclimatize. They adapts slowly and don't like to be moved frequently.

I did exactly this and the decay has exponentially worsened. It seems as if it is too far gone. Guess ill stick to hammers and zoas lol.

Any sign of infection or flesh turning into jelly or is it just sucking in and receding? Could be a plethora of things, could have an infection (iodine dip if you haven't thrown in the towel yet) could be salinity l, could be shocked from acclimation. I love favias, shame its not doing well for you.

Here are some pictures. It keeps getting worse and worse. I decided to discard it today as I have a nano and I did not want to cause a nutrient imbalance when it decays. I am out of salt mix currently and could not do emergency water changes.

I think they look amazing and definitely want to try my hand at another. I think it was the long day of shipping that did it in. I had several delays and it was 8 hours late in freezing temps.
