What is your favorite tang species? There is a lot of diversity with this fish in both size and color and their benefits for the tank. I personally like the White Tail Bristletooth Tang because they are not super aggressive, great algae eaters, and don't get monstrously large.

I've had about 10 different types over the years, but there's something very special about the Yellow tang. To me, the most iconic fish in the saltwater hobby are the clownfish and a yellow tang.

I do love the color of my Purple Tang, but IMO my trio of old school Yellow Tangs are my pride and joy.

My favorite based on appearance but I can't keep because of size restraints is an Achilles. I keep 7 types and my yellows and bristle tooth are favorites as cuc members. They're non stop grazers and rock pickers. They're not to shabby to look at I suppose

Love the look of my yellow and purple tangs but the personality of my blond naso tang is the best. Will eat out of my hands

I like all the tangs. I would love to get an achilles but I'm afraid of ICH.

I have... 3 yellows, a blue hippo, tomini, and a desjardini.

Out of these, my favorite is the Desjardini.
