If it weren’t for pesky details such as tank size, reef safeness, venom, etc. is there a favourite fish or other creature you would get?

Mine’s common. I want a clown triggerfish. Not just anyone though. I want “Earl†from my LFS. He follows me wherever I go. He’ll play follow my finger as if I were an ophthalmologist.

He’s been there for three months. They don’t “put ‘em down†do they?

Moorish Idol!!

Box Jellyfish or if we can go really extreme a bottle nose dolphin(technically not a fish but oh well)

For me Clown Trigger, hands down.

Ummmmmfish, in Boulder, Co is keeping Filefish and is on 4-5 months now with eating prepared and frozen.

Macawmagic,
H tusk general eat what ever you put in the tank as far a food they small snails, shrimps any size and crabs. Even taking that into account and not having any of that in your tank for them to munch on. You have to take their hunting for food habits into consideration they grab some prety good size rocks and flip them over in search for food. They realy can creat a heck of sand storm when fliping over big rocks you wouldn't think them capabale of fliping, they are just great fish fun to have and watch. They are my favorite also.

JR,

I had one healthy for several months and then out of the blue it died! :( That's the way they do though.

Interruptus angel. Someday I will have at least one, I'd like to get two from RCT if/when they're back in business. I shouldn't have this fish because I'd be paranoid of something happening to it. If it ate my corals my tank would quickly become FOWLR. If it badgered my other fish and killed them then I'd have a one/two fish tank with just interruptus. I love those fish that much :)

Some in my local club has had a moorish idol for 2 years and he's fat and healthy.. He's selling it though

Is he shipping?? Could you hook us up? :)

I am in Georgia! :) Right outside of Chattanooga, Tn.

I know PaulB on RC had a moorish idol for a cpl years but he dives and collects sponges and stuff to feed it all the time. I'm not sure if he still has it.

For me I always loved butterfly fish.
I also agree with clown triggers beautiful fish.
I also always thought cuttlefish were cool.
How bout seahorses another hard to keep.

Was I only suppose to list 1? lol
