I love filter feeders! Don't know why anyone wouldn't want them, but that's your choice.

Certain wrasses will wipe them out. And most of them are fairly reef safe depending on the size and everything. I have a yellow coris that doesn't touch any inverts other than bristleworms and pods. Just do some reasearch on reef safe wrasses, if that is your route.

These guys are hardy and have soft tubes should be easy to scrap/pull out and throw them in ur sump

There one of the best filter feeders that your tank can have naturally for waste organics. Most people (as you can see) would pay you money for frags. I'd keep and regulate but not wipe out totally.

Copperband Butterfly will wipe them out. That is the tradeoff I had to make when I added the CBB. In return the CBB also wiped out all the aptasia in the tank and is a beautiful fish. For some reason he hasn't touched my Coco Worm.

Cbb can go after other prized corals as well I would evaluate ur feeding maybe u have a new increase of nutrients causing the bloom of dusters I would say the population will begin to level out
