Feb 2026 POTM Mushrooms

Here's the only mushroom I currently have! This is under actinic light coming from a reefbrite strip, XR15 gen6, and a blade glow. It's got some green coming in and there are more and more red spots developing. Hoping it gets some purple, but I don't know if that's possible. When I bought it, it was mostly just orange without any other colors.

Not submissions, as I know I’m only allowed one, but I should have submitted one of these instead. I was just sorting through old pictures looking for something else when I stumbled upon these. The illustrate what’s going on in the tank a little better than the one I submitted, IMO. Anyway, just wanted to share :)

Jeez. What's it like being Corallimorph wealthy? At today's Jawbreaker prices, it looks like you have enough to go from DIYreefer to RoyalExclusiveReefer

Just going to say some of these pictures are absolutely incredible! Well done to everyone so far!

They have completely funded the hobby for me for a long time and I’ve now reached a point where I’ve built a large enough coral collection and enough grow out tanks to where it would probably be inaccurate to describe myself as “just a hobbyist” anymore. I’ll very likely be buying a sponsorship here on r2r pretty soon so I can start selling here again. I started selling elsewhere, and lost my selling privileges here about a year or so ago.

All because I bought 12 Jawbreakers in the classifieds here back in 2021!

Honestly, it's more a case of dumb luck than anything else... but I'll take it! When I bought them in 2021 it was on impulse, and they went into my only tank at the time. It was set up with keeping SPS in mind so very high light, high flow, and low nutrients. The Jawbreakers didn't love this and started to wander around dropping babies along the way. I took note of that as I started to propagate them intentionally. And, well, the result it what you see in the pictures. Buying those 12 Jawbreakers was the best $600 I've ever spent!

Tequila Sunrise. The multiply like bunnies in my tank. This started as one on this rock.... and I have several that have fallen off into the sand, and those grow and multiply as well.

Mine grew about 1.5” shrunk down tiny and I thought I would randomly lose it but it recovered and now is back to this
Still alive! Looking good! I’m happy
