im trying to get everything together for my new GEO 510 reactor, and on there site for instructions it says use a mj1200 powerhead for there reactors. So my question is since this is a smaller reactor should I go with a smaller one? And I like the sicce .5 small pump because I can buy that 1/2" mpt to 1/4 barb and hook it straight up as I seen on the brs calcium reactor video. Also does it matter what pump as long as it pushes between 200-300 gph?

You can use any pump that pushes that gph, Doesn't need to be a maxijet. I'll be using a peristaltic pump on mine so the effluent will be controlled by the pump rather than a valve
