Hi everyone,

I'm Dave, a lifelong aquarist / fish keeper. I'm exploring the idea of creating a mobile app for aquarium maintenance tracking, with plans to expand it into a comprehensive resource for fish, inverts, corals and plants for the freshwater part.

I'd love to hear everyone's opinion, would this be useful to anyone or not really?

Quick questions:
1. How do you currently track water parameters and maintenance schedules? Or, would you be interested in tracking?
2. Would historical parameter logs and graphs be useful to you?
3. What's your biggest frustration with maintaining records?
4. Which features would make your fish-keeping life easier?
-Water parameter tracking with graphs
-Maintenance reminders
-Custom parameter tracking (beyond pH, acidity, alkalinity)
-Species profiles (fish/inverts/plants with compatibility info)
5. Something else?

Thanks for your time!

- if you can align them to "notable" points

3. What's your biggest frustration with maintaining records?
- N/A

4. Which features would make your fish-keeping life easier?
-Water parameter tracking with graphs - x
-Maintenance reminders - x
-Custom parameter tracking (beyond pH, acidity, alkalinity)
-Species profiles (fish/inverts/plants with compatibility info)

5. Something else?
N/A

Given the number of tracking apps available, and native tracking through controllers like Neptune and Hydros, how do you plan to make your app stand out and why would we select your app over other alternatives?
