Hey all! A conversation last night got me thinking, and eventually worrying: how much is enough for a stocked tank?

I over feed my nano a bit in the evening with pellets to bring nutrients up a bit but with my moderately stocked 90g I feed one cube in the morning and one at night for the tank. I have:

Cinnamon clown
Snowflake clown pair
Engineer goby
Marine betta (I spot feed her scallop so probably not relevant)
Royal gramma
Banggai cardinal
Disco Blenny
Starry blenny
Yellow tang
Blue eyed kole tang
Melanurus wrasse
Ornate leopard wrasse

Is this enough? Not enough? My nutrients run high but are stable not going up or down too much with what I’m feeding and I’m adding a turf scrubber in a couple weeks to help naturally bring them down more, too, but not increasing so I’m confident that I’m not OVERFEEDING them!

Thanks all!

I think that is plenty. I used to over feed with frozen and reef roids so I could keep my nutrients up. Now I dose ammonium bicarbonate and trisodium phos and only feed once sometimes twice a day. I made the switch so I could lower the amount of DOC in my system. My fish are still fat and happy and more corals look even better than before !

Nice! I do daily AB+, phyto, and 2x/wk reef roids with my feeds. Nutrients are high but stable (though that scrubber should help like I said in op!)
