Feeding anemone

Hey everyone just looking for advice on how often you feed your anemone. I have a long tentacle anemone that has been eating my fish, caught it trying to eat my starry blenny but it was to big for it then my 2 clowns went missing not sure if it was the anemone but I don't see them anywhere. I started feeding them either every day or every other day no fish missing since then. Just wondering if that is to much. Also they recently look deflated are they dying ?

People will ask how old is the tank? What are your parameters? Hold old is the nem?

Also, do you have any photos of the nem that you can share? Are you sure it's not a Condylactis anemone? They will sometimes eat fish, including clowns.

In terms of feeding, you don't need to feed anemones. Some people feed them weekly to get them to grow, some never feed them.

Tank is 9 months, bought the anemone last month and parameters are:
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20
Phosphate. 003
Calcium 480
Alkalinity 8.6 dkh
Magnesium 1380
Salinity 1.023
Ph 8.3

All I can say is nitrates look a little high. I know mine look a little different after a month and acclimate to the tank.

Yea I dont know why I'm having trouble bringing down the nitrates I do a 20 gallon water change every week trying to lower them they just don't go down :(

Stop feeding every day. I had algae from spot feeding coral twice a week. Skipped one feeding and it’s like night and day

Will do that for the algae but then its gonna have expensive food if it keeps eating the fish I put in there .
