I have two Ocellaris Clowns. They are small to medium size as they were $20 a piece. I also have one cleaner shrimp as well in my 29G Biocube.

How much should I be feeding them. Right now I give them about a 1/4 of a frozen Hikari brine shrimp cube daily. I thaw it out in tank water first and they are eating well. But fish always act hungry, especially clowns that swim over to the glass every time I enter the room. I also have flake food but it just mainly floats on top and the clowns don't seem as interested.

Sorry for the newbie question. I tried doing a search first but came up with nothing.

Fish will eat as much as you put in. Don't be tempted to overfeed. With such a small tank, you'll be creating issues real fast. Once a day is fine. I would go smaller feedings and do it perhaps twice a day. However, once a day is fine as well.

We feed our Clown every other day with frozen shrimp or pellets, our Cleaner likes Flakes.

I feed my fish either flakes, pellets, or frozen... I like to switch it up on them from time to time :)
i look at it as if food is hitting the bottom of the tank, there is too much food being given to them.
