Hi all,

Curious if you feed your clowns frozen mysis shrimp and pellets or just one or the other? As far as the mysis cubes do you do a whole cube or just a small piece? Still new to the hobby so will be adding other fish but right now it’s just the 2 clowns, next will be a sand sifter then a cleanup crew. Also, was looking for a defroster that can be 3D printed if anybody has had any luck with those and have a design you like.

Thanks!

As much variety as possible is best. For a couple of clowns I would cut the cube into 4 quarters and feed a quarter. I feed my fish 3 or 4 times a day. Good luck.

You can feed frozen, pellets and flake. Just don't over feed.
Start with really small amounts until you nail down how much food for the current live stock. A whole cube of frozen might be too much.
I feed multiple small feeding each day, alternating food types.

I’m a big fan of LRS Reef Frenzy Nano, it’s a very nice all in one mixed diet.

Shipping is expensive, but if you stock up with a few months worth the cost per unit becomes pretty reasonable.

I exclusively keep clowns myself along with a large cleanup crew of hermits, trochus and conches and I feed frozen mysis, brine and Marine Cusine along with pellets on an alternating basis.
I only feed once a day
