I just started growing phytoplankton to feed my tank in large quanities about 6 months ago and wow...little flat black clams all over had two smaller ones never open and now they never close and are much larger...i thought the pumps would kill all larva but some seem to have attached. My oyster is open further than i ever thought it could! especialy after adding my greenwater! I will be selling and trading it on this site soon after i have been a member for longer and have my posts up.
