I recently purchased a hector's goby from my lfs a couple of weeks back and I'm really starting to like this fish. My one problem is the fact that it will not eat dry food. I've gotten it to eat frozen brine and that's about it. I'm going to try garlic but if anyone has any better ideas on how to get him to eat, I would like to know.

Small foods would work best. What dry foods are you trying? You might try flake or a smaller pellet size.

Also, baby brine, Ova, ROE, cyclops, calanus...some other small foods he might like.

I've tried the omega one veggie mini pellets, crushed nls pellets, Ocean nutrition flakes, crushed omega one shrimp pellets, and nori. He ignores most stuff but will chase and eat a few of the frozen brine shrimp.

Mixing with the frozen helps, then gradually increasing ratio of dry to frozen until converted to dry. That being said, some fish never convert to dry.
