I keep seeing two varieties, the yellow one with blue stripes and blue tail, and a rainbow coloured variety.
Does their colour change as they age (If so, which is the adult colour?)
Or are they sexually dimorphic?

I'm asking this because if I want to spend hundreds on a fish it'd better be beautiful! (I prefer the yellow one, but if they're sexually dimorphic I want to get a pair, if I ever even have the opportunity to see one)

Sexually dichormatic, like all Anampses.

Female on top, male on the bottom. Note the male is displaying a bit here; the color on the male is not this pronounced all the time.

Thank God! It would be such a waste for every one of them to lose that beautiful yellow/blue combination!
