It's here! The stand alone is a beast. I'm surprised I was able to get it inside on my own. Leveling it out with some shims for a minor adjustment and then letting the carpet settle.

Tank is still in the box. I was smart enough to wait for the wife to get home to help move this off the pallet.

I've been quiet I know but I've been paying off the tank and stand. These things are expensive! But I'm happy to announce that I placed an order with SynergyReef for their 26" sump and 5gal ATO. I'm really excited for this and will share any pictures if provided. Just a countdown of 3 weeks until it arrives.

Did you get their Triton sump? I did. Took over a month but they were backlogged. I received the Fusion Green last week and it's a class act!!

I actually went with their filter sock version. Vanessa was very helpful in answering all my questions and said that they can make a CL version of the 26". So I got that and the ATO container in storm cloud. Very excited for it but I know it'll be awhile yet.

It is! Right now it is a good quality junk holder. Won't put it all together until I can plumb it. But I won't lie, I'm very impatient.

BIG DAY!

Well okay the big day was earlier this week but I was out on vacation so it doesn't count. And then I had to go back to work so this is the first time I can actually start writing this up. So it's like the big day when in fact it isn't.

It all started with a box.


Then you open the box....and bam!


New sump. She is a beauty.

Here is it "installed" in the sump. Plumbing will come later, once I have the return pump.


There will be a matching ATO container but Synergy was a bit delayed in making those.

Things left to buy before the transfer:

• MP40QDw
• Return Pump (Vectra S1 is the current winner on this)
• Screen top (I suck a DIY generally so I want something nice)
• and ... I may need a new dosing pump one of the heads on my jebao unit is not pumping accurately.

ATO finally arrived. Looks great, only complaint is that it won't have water in it anytime soon.

Also today due to the Saltwateraquarium.com having an open box item, I was able to purchase the Varios-4 return pump at about $80 off retail price. This wasn't the original choice of return pump but I can't pass up that deal. I didn't like the Vectra S1 that much better to pay an extra $80.

Now just need the ATO (Neptune) and MP40QDw before we can start getting serious about a time frame for the transfer.

What's your thoughts on saltwateraquarium

I was looking at their site yesterday. They have grade A davinci clowns on sale like $100 off around grade C price. Can't understand why

I've only ever used them for dry goods. There is nothing wrong with those but I'm very skeptical about where I buy my fish from.

But if it works out then it works out. Most people I know would get it if they were the actual fish for sale

I have used saltwateraquarium.com too for drygoods. They are excellent to deal with. They don't do livestock. I think you're referring to saltwaterfish.com
