Was watching an older video by Inappropriate Reefer that made a claim that filefish and waving xenia have a semi-symbiotic relationship and that the filefish will bond to a xenia patch like clowns with a nem..any truth to this?

Are you asking about waving hand anthelia or pulsing xenia?

I've had both corals and file fish and I've never seen anything that I would call a relationship. Maybe if the coral has aiptasia in it!

pulsing xenia

I beleive he was very specific though that it was a radial filefish from ORA. I really wish I had access to this fish because I would get a pair, and they would be the highlight to my aquarium :(

They will use it as camouflage, but it is in no way symbiotic.

tyvm..if you find a distributor that actually has the ORA's in stock please let me know...not much luck finding them

Was searching for the ORA Radial Filefish and didnt really turn up anyone who had them in stock :( Lmk if anyone finds them available
