Filefish Eating Torch?

Noticed my GR Torch not extending all the way lately. Then I see the filefish nip the Torch, does he have to go? If I feed more will it help?

He does a heck of a job on the aptasia, none left.

Yup, he can do that.
Sometimes they “taste” but don’t like so it stops.
Keep close eye for continued “tasting” then it’s your call. If he repeats, then he will slowly destroy others.
Feed more, sure, but don’t pollute your system.
Mine had to go.

Mine didn't touch aptasia and decided the cynarina was tastier. At least he was easy to catch.
