Ever since we upgraded to our new tank our anemones have been acting strangely. They’ll be big and beautiful and inflated (rainbow bta’s) until I scrape the glass. During or after they kind of bloat up their bodies and then their tentacles deflate and they retract. Sometimes they’ll close. This is new behavior. I’ve had them for over 2 years. Wondering if anyone else has this issue? It never happened in the other tank?

It's a guess but it sounds to me like they're feeding off the algae by taking in more water then they'll have to deflate to expell the excess water.

Mine do this too. Wasn't sure on why for the behavior. I can't offer up any words of wisdom though - this is my first BTA.
