Filter socks for?

I use the 200 micron 4*8 rectangle socks, I change every 3 days right before they start to clog, and I still get a layer of detritus in the sump.

I think what happens is the dirt gets caught in the pad, but as more water and dirt beats on it and attempts to pass thru, it becomes ground up and made into dust.

how do you all counter this?

Provide more flow in section where detritus is settling, i.e. install a small powerhead to keep detritus suspended and recirculated so sock can catch it eventually. I have same issue in the drain section of sump so plan to add a small powerhead there.
