Apparently I want tacos and I missed taco Tuesday!

  • The tacos were delicious but the aftermath was brutal to behold
  • The ghost pepper sauce on those tacos was brutal — one bite, and it felt like my mouth was haunted!
  • Those tacos were stuffed with brutal amounts of spice, hot enough to make even a skeleton sweat.

This one is like 6-7 years ago it was in the 30s no snow I was out in flip flops and shorts handing out candy all night long. We have not had a night like that since lol I think last year was around 10 deg. Suppose to be snowing and in the 30s tomorrow so not to bad :)

Oh, forgot mention. The sale begins at midnight tonight and actually runs all weekend!
The Midnight Awakening of Buddy Gutz
1730315760052.png

In the heart of the reef, where water shimmered like moonlight through glass, Buddy Gutz was on his nightly patrol. It was almost midnight, and Buddy had heard the old tales: at the stroke of twelve, the reef would come alive in a dance of light and whispers. He didn’t quite believe it, but being the curious hero he was, Buddy stayed to watch.

As the clock struck twelve, the water grew still. Suddenly, vibrant Acroporas began to pulse, their colors intensifying like glowing lanterns. Soft whispers echoed around Buddy, like a hundred tiny voices calling his name. “Buddy… Buddy Gutz…”

He looked around, confused but intrigued. The corals were awake, their polyps waving gently in the current, their fluorescent tips sparkling like a thousand tiny stars. One of the largest corals, an elegant green Montipora, stretched towards Buddy and spoke in a voice soft and warm, “You, Buddy Gutz, are the keeper of our beauty. The good people of the reefkeeper community deserve to see our light.”

Buddy’s eyes widened, not in fear but in awe. “You… you want to be picked?” he asked, almost embarrassed by the absurdity of the idea.

“Yes,” whispered the corals in unison, glowing brighter. “Take us to those who care for the reef. Bring our light to their homes, and let them see the wonders of the sea.”

Buddy couldn’t help but smile. It was like being chosen by an enchanted garden, each coral nodding towards him, practically packing their polyps to leave. With delicate hands, he began to gently collect the vibrant pieces, cradling them like treasures. The corals hummed in delight, their colors creating a glowing path to guide him back to the surface.

As he surfaced, cradling his newfound friends, Buddy looked back at the glowing reef, and whispered, “Thank you.” He swam towards the tanks of the Battlecorals community, delivering these midnight marvels to the good reefkeepers who would cherish their glow.

And every midnight after, Buddy knew that the reef would be waiting for him, ready to share its magic with those who understood its beauty.
