Hey guys I'm looking to add something else to my fowlr.
It's about 24 gallons.
I currently have a valentini puffer and a snowflake eel.
The puffer is the most placid fish I've ever seen but the eel can get quite aggressive if I don't feed it everyday.
So I'm after something that can hold it's own against the snowflake, but not be too aggressive against the puffer.
I was thinking a lemonpeel angel or foxface. I can move them on when they outgrow me.
I'd prefer something omnivorous or herbivorous.
Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
Thanks everyone.

Not sure on the size of your eel, but your tank may be to small for it. For another fish maybe somthing like a fuzzy dwarf lion but even that will out grow your tank size pretty fast. The 2 fish you listed will also need a larger tank. Not sure on your budget but you should be able to find a used 55 gallon pretty cheap.

My eel is pretty small at the moment, about 7 inches or so. It's a bit hard to tell because he's either hiding in his pipe or constantly moving while on the hunt.
My first thought was the dwarf lion, they're another favourite fish of mine. I have a couple of concerns about them though.
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely have to do more research on them.
2nd hand equipment is almost impossible to come by where I'm from. The only LFS within a 3hr drive said he only has 3 marine customers so 2nd hand equipment doesn't really exist :(

Honestly the deck is stacked against you with the two fish you already have in the tank. I would not add anything else unless you re-home both of them first.

U can't get either of those with that size of tank i don't think the fish you have now are in a big enough tank you need at least 55g

The eel is being re homed in a matter of weeks. He grew much quicker than expected unfortunately. I've had several before and none of them grew anywhere near as quick as this guy.
R2R suggests a 20g minimum for the valentini https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55458
Im still unsure about what to add next.

I know plenty of people with fuzzy dwarf lions in their tank, they sure are awesome and have seen them housed with all kinds of fish .. As long as they are all bigger than the lion! Haha

The dwarf lion was the fish I'm considering most :) My LFS is keeping an eye out for either a fuzzy or a zebra for me. Whatever he can get in first ill most likely add.
I love scorpions and I was lucky enough that he got me a sebastipistes cyanostigma for dirt cheap. Unfortunately it was DOA when it arrived instore :(
Any other suggestions?
