Some of you have been awesome.. more that a few not even close.. eventually sever space will require me to be deleted.. thank @Humblefish and many others.. salt life is coming to a end for me.. I wish you all the best!

You have to do what is right for you. I've never met you but I wish you luck on your future endeavors I'm sure a few good people will still be around if you ever decide to return to the hobby.

its just not fun anymore.. I'm so heavy hearted but I know its the right move..

Do yourself a favor, don't sell anything for 6 months. If you still want to leave after that, then is the time to sell. Either way, I wish you all the best. :)

You'll be back

PS: I've had a few setbacks that tempted me to walk away but I pressed through and I'm glad I did.

Reefage is a bit more stronger then marriage. You don't say "until death do us part", because you don't need to :D

Good luck!

+1 @Humblefish I took a break and came back with a vengeance. Good luck and check in every once in a while.

Whether it's the people or the tank, take a break. Or perhaps change your routine?
I myself have been fed up with both from time to time. So at those times I'll change my routine. Don't login to forums, stop working on the tank everyday and just sit and watch it instead. If the tank is getting you down, find what you enjoy about it and do that. Clean the glass down to the very last little bit of whatever. Or in my most recent case, I was so tired of all the water, I went from a 75 to a 20. The fun I found? Trying to fit everything from a 75 into a 20! lol
Now I'm back to a 35ish.. Or perhaps if you've never done it, try breeding some stuff, or setup a new way to grow coral. After all, part of the hobby is aside from us, but caring for and trying to help corals and other critters live.
Or even just set a schedule, to do waterchanges once a week. Then the rest of the week, don't look at the tank. Work on other hobbies during the break, or perhaps just work on yourself, or reconnecting with friends, or that special someone.

If after all of that you still don't want to be in the hobby, I wish you the best. After all, as times change and the world changes around us, it doesn't mean we can't either.
