MFor 6 years my main goal was to convert my fluval 6 gallon into a reef tank. It’s been up and running freshwater with bleach for 6 years now. Always loved the look of it.

Everything I’ve done to present was to give my self the option of adding tanks to every room running off 1 sump and pump from the basement.

Finally got the initiative and took a day off work the plumb this in.

May sound dumb to some, but this has been a small dream of mine for a long time.

Nice! I like the creativity! What are you planning to stock?

I'm hoping to do 4 small torches in the front, pair or single maxima in the middle, maybe a colorful nem also. Flows good, need to check the par next weekend, might have to bump up to a kessil 80 for lighting.

That looks way cool. Keep going. A tank in every room is awesome. I can see walking into a different room and each time a new tank to draw the attention

Well. Had a small issue with my lta getting into my rear mp10 last night. I had increased my par 3 days ago, guess he didn’t like it. Had to do a emergency move to save him. Put the head and anemone in the new 6. He climbed out and opened right up. Hopefully he makes it. Seems to like the lighting. I got my porcelains off him before I took him out. But noticed today one of the sexy shrimps went with him.

He may have changed my stocking plans. He’s never been happy in my main tank.

Did add 1 mp10 to equalize the flow from left to right. Water comes in on the right, put the head on the left. Lowest lagoon setting

6 continues to do just fine. Upgrading to a jbj desktop 10. Have a hard time getting my arm in the 6.

Got the tank drilled, over flow installed, and bottom and back abs in. After a week dry time will cut back the caulking.

Well finally got the 6 switched out with the 10.

Between new plumbing, adding 2 bulk heads for external returns and adding 2 2” bulks for incoming was a long day.

Took 10 hours. Most time for a install for me to date.

Used a 360 we I had laying around set at 1% lol. Loving I can get my whole arm in it now.

Had to bust the top of my 6 out to get my main rock out with the maxima on it. Killed a small hammer (crushed his skeleton) in the process. That was my only casualty.

Okay. Finally got the 10 setup and finished. Happy with everything now. Just waiting on a couple more frags for finishing details!

Ended up taking the 360 down then went with double t5’s. That hood ruined the open top. Ended up grabbing a second 160 and ran 2 for light coverage.
