I have live rock and sand on the way and plan to use Dr. Tim's method to cycle it, so I hope to have some seahorses soon!

Thanks to everyone for all of their help, advice, and support. It has been amazing!

I just got my live rock last night. I'm just waiting on my sand now to get it in the tank! Then I can start my cycle. I've decided to go with Dr. Tim's. Any tips?

Awesome!!
Tips for cycling? Just pick a method and go with it, if your doing dr tims method do that start to finish as directed and you'll be fine. Just dont for example, start with dr tims method and then decide an ammonia test is too expensive and toss in a shrimp instead etc ;)

We got everything set up and running, filled it up, and started the cycle with Dr. Tim's! So far so good. I do my first series of tests tomorrow. I need to figure out my camera so I can take better pictures too when I get more stuff put in the tank. Does anyone know of some good cheap places to buy artificial corals and plants? I am going to eventually add real corals but would like to start with the artificial stuff first just to have some hitching posts.

(I just noticed I need to change the date and time on my new camera.)
